Middlebury

Located in the heart of Addision County, Middlebury is the shire town of the county. The charming village of Middlebury is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This bustling town offers something for everyone; restaurants, museums, shopping and so much culture. Home to Middlerbury college, the town is a destination for lovers of history and writing, as Robert Frost lived here, and writers still gather at the Middlebury College Bread Loaf Campus. 

Otter Creek runs through the town, and the iconic 20 foot waterfall is a sight that many admire - which is located right in the center of town. In addition to a generous selection of various restaurants, there are also tasting rooms that offer beer and spirits that are locally produced. 

There's also plenty of outdoor recreation to enjoy within and outside the town including fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking, bird watching and golfing. The Ralph Myhre Golf Course is located in the south west corner of town and is open to the public. 

Salisbury

Located in Southern Addison County, Salisbury is a town filled with charm and outdoor recreation. Lake Dunmore is in the eastern part of the town, a beautiful little lake that brings visitors from in state, and out of state. Lake Dunmore is part of Branbury State Park and offers boating, swimming, camping, fishing, hiking, picnic spots and wildlife watching. Route 7 runs through Salisbury, making it easy to access from Middlerbury (to the North), and Rutland (to the South).
